Strategic Investment in Stroom Network
In 2023, the Bitcoin industry witnessed a significant paradigm shift, exemplified by Ordinals, Inscriptions, and BRC-20 tokens showcasing the potential for building on Bitcoin. These innovations fueled a surge in interest in the Lightning Network. With exchanges integrating Lightning for faster transactions and reduced costs, investor attention has pivoted towards ecosystem projects.
Our venture studio, Boosty, with a focus on investments and development in Bitcoin & Lightning Network projects, has strategically invested in one of the most noteworthy projects in the ecosystem — Stroom Network. Notably, Stroom Network has successfully secured $3.5 million for the launch of Bitcoin ‘Liquid Staking’ on Lightning, as highlighted by The Block, a leading cryptocurrency media outlet.
The Power of Artificial Intelligence
This year has been quite eventful for the Artificial Intelligence industry. We’ve been closely monitoring the development and cancellation of AI projects, and observed the scandal surrounding Sam Altman. Most importantly, we’ve entered into a strategic partnership with Replit, a company building a platform that leverages artificial intelligence to build a powerful, simple platform for software development and deployment.
Through the strategic partnership with Replit, Boosty Labs has redesigned its development processes, which has markedly improved efficiency and speed, eliminating time-consuming tasks for teams.
Team Expansion
In the fall of 2023, we proudly announced the strategic hiring of two experienced leaders.
Vitalii Yatskiv joined as Chief Technology Officer, bringing expertise in enterprise blockchain consulting, while Zaighum Ghumman assumed the role of Chief Revenue Officer, with a successful history in driving revenue growth for FTSE Top 10 FMCG companies.
These appointments underscore Boosty Labs commitment to innovation and expanding its global presence.
